Delicate for an Amarone, but retains all of the qualities you love about Amarone. I typically avoid this style but loved this.

Well balanced, lots of chocolate, tobacco and dried plum notes;tannins evident;needs at least 1 hour of airing before serving

Concentrated raisiny sweetness. Lush and delicious.

...one of the best wines I’ve ever had was an Amarone from the 1976 vintage and this certainly did not disappoint. Very solid offering that you would go out of your way to order again. Anrico Posto outside of Chicacgo.

Last of the case. It’s been a couple of years. Still aromas of forest berries, maybe with a hint of almond and black pepper and menthol. Deep cherry. After it was open for a while there was spices and tea. Very smooth, tannins very soft and fine but still there, a bit drying, integrated, nice bitterness on the end with still a nice finish.

A nice but unaged amarone. Had at an at hone wine tasting, $32 but would not pay that. A nice red but almost no amarone taste.
