Fantastic single variety expression of California Mourvèdre. Amazing to see it showing so well a decade on. A must try.

2014 vintage, inspired by Jim McCusker. Nice to see the young guns at MIT...

Not Ryan's best effort, but my guess this is WAY too young. Will revist this in a few years...

Bold and dark fruity. Excellent 100% Mourvèdre! We partied with cheese but would great with an steak or a meaty mushroom dish.

Part of a horizontal tasting of Central Coast mourvedre at our Wine Party, this wine is typical of the great stuff Ryan Pease is doing at his label Paix sur Terre. I don't know how he manages to produce such an elegant wine from 100% mourvedre, but that's exactly what this wine is: elegant. Beautiful fruit, with smooth, sweet tannins that just dance on the palate. Great stuff!

Black pepper, sour cherries, bourbon oak barrel notes, alcohol
Med acid, well balanced, opens up with aeration, long finish, dark red fruits
