I have a tough time with Sori Paitan. I’ve had several bottles of their Nebbiolo-based wines and never seem to enjoy them as much as their price point suggests I should. This bottle took a long time to open and lacked the life and fruit I wanted and got from other bottles on the same night. We left it over night and drank it the next evening. It was better but still lacked the nose and flavor of other Barolos and Barbarescos we enjoyed.
