Pleasant, easy-drinker. The warmer vintage come through, especially on the nose, with black cherry liqueur and dried strawberry notes. Palate shows more depth with tea leaf, dried shrooms, and leather. Tart cherry and pomegranate flavors hang out in the finish.

40/40/20 Nebbiolo, Barbera, Cab and 100% delicious. This took a tad to air out, but once it did had great strawberry, and black cherry notes. Beyond the fruit elements, there was tobacco and earthy notes that really came through mid palate. Very well balanced with acidity carrying through in the finish. Picked up a local gourmet store liquidation, I hope they have some left!

Had this again today. What a value. Needs decanting and food. Medium to Full bodied, moderate tannins and high acid. Dark cherry explodes on the nose along with some menthol.
