Pahlmeyer
Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir
Evolved and nicely created, this aged PN offer tertiary flavors of damp forest leaves, dried dark berries and toasty oak, which still hasn't integrated completely (and probably never will). Rounded off tannins and obviously made from very ripe grapes, this has seen better days, but still pleasure.

Nov 21st, 2016Tasted old, but still rich and complex, likely due to marginal cellar conditions. Wish we drank it sooner!

Aug 4th, 2018Wow! Per all wine publications saying this wine is past its prime is sadly mistaken! This Pinot is in a lovely place perfect I've structure, lovely red fruit a wonderful red raspberry with great tea notes with a fabulous mouth feel, silken finish. I'd put this in my Pinot in my top-5! Not your typical cali Pinot a cross between a burgundy and California Pinot. Thanks Tom Fields for recommending it and telling to lay it down!

Oct 12th, 2016I don't have much to say about this. I liked it but could be more interesting.
