Monthly WTF wine group meet up.
Honeysuckle, mint, lanolin, and butterscotch on the nose. It’s got a bit of wet fur, old lemon and old popcorn on the palate. I’d be more inclined to drink these early but this was still solid.

Dec 12th, 2018Citrus notes with roasted almonds on the nose. Mineral-driven palate which quickens and becomes racy. Quite weighty and deftly balanced. Finishes creamy (due to the oak treatment), with almonds and flashes of honey. Pop n pour extravaganza.

May 2nd, 20182013 vintage, my last one. Better than three years ago. Wonderful balance of oak, mineral and chard rich fruit. Who says chardonnays shouldn’t be aged?
