Had to double check vintage as both the smell & taste of this wine are so intense and young, this must have been a beast in its youth. Nose still has bags of primary red fruit along with a short rib, bloody meatiness to it. Beautifully rounded and silky in the mouth but still with a densely dark fruited structure and well resolved but present tannin. Excellent, so much still to give, should age excellently.
