A really pretty ethereal garnet color with thin edges in the glass. Slight funk on the nose but definitely fruit dominate with cherries and pomegranate up front. A little fresh mulch shows, as well. This is so light and dainty and incredibly fun. There’s also nice minerality happening and well balanced acidity. As much as I love just smelling this, the palate does outdo the nose. Smoky cloves, clean bright red fruit, and just enough forest floor. This is a pretty Burgundy and I could probably drink this everyday.
