A solid representation of Sangiovese from this estate that dates back to 900AD. Very little to no technology used in their winemaking. Never would have thought this wine was 15% ABV given the delightful nose right out the glass.

This was such a surprisingly delicious wine, rich and lush but still balanced. It walked as close as possible to the line of "too much" without crossing over. Sent to me from Enoteca Pitti Gola e Cantina in Florence, IT.
