What a surprise. Old gal was drinking beautifully and had tannins to boot. Cassis and more old world in style.

Probably a good wine in it's day, but it hasn't aged brilliantly. Unfortunately the '02 is probably a year or two past peak drinking. It was incredibly acidic, to the point of masking pretty much all other flavors.
