Really a fantastic wine that almost drinks like a new world Vougeot. Nose dominated by dark plum, wet earth dried spices, Cinnamon and other exotic spices with a whiff of flowers. Elegant and intriguing. The great fruit adding black cherry and maybe a bit of cola and espresso although the spice frames the whole experience. Finishes with nice dense tannins, good structure, nice acidity and a spicy tingle like a good Sichuan chicken. Maybe a bit rustic, probably a bit past peak, Not super long, but light bodied for an Oregon Pinot and really really well done.
