Friday night mass at the Owen Roe Chapel. Restraint, exceptional purity, and smooth AF.

Intricate, subtle, refined.

Big and rowdy. Brought the hammer to flavor town. It's early.

Underwhelmed. Was hoping for more.

One of my very favorite Syrah vineyards on the planet. Nose of pepper and lavender. Massive and robust palate of plum, pepper and wet, dark earth. Silky with a long lasting finish.

Wonderful! Full of dark rich fruit and a long smokey spicy finish!

2011 - dark cherry, blackberry and blueberry with hints of vanilla.
