Ex Umbris Columbia Valley Syrah

Very edgy - second time I've had this in the past year - presented better last round - a little hollow but very correct suet & steel Syrah character

This really blossomed after around four hours of air.

Dark fruited Syrah from Columbia Valley. Quite balanced probably given the age. Not that complex but decent for meaty dishes (hock from Amah).

Juicy plum, blackberry & blueberry.

Dark fruits and black pepper, good weight on the palette, not heavy. I paired it with seared pork and roasted peppers and tomatoes. Opened up nicely after decanting. Not really necessary but helpful.
