This wine is a blend of 32%Merlot, 25% Cabernet Franc, 24% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 19% Petit Verdot. This comes to us from the Columbia Valley in Washington State. The nose is a bit tight. There is a little heat with alcohol, I am sure if I let it set for awhile the alcohol will blow off and it will start opening up. I am getting some smoke, licorice, and vegetal notes. On the palate is a good smooth velvety mouth feel. Definitely more of the vegetal notes and dark bing cherries with a long clean finish. This a very nice MareLow based wine good right now but will be good to lay down for another 5-10 years.
