O'Shaughnessy
Mount Veeder Cabernet Sauvignon
Tight tight tight. Lots of tannin. Needs a lot more time.

Dec 14th, 2015balanced and well-integrated tannins within the fruit, forest floor and cedar notes. one of the more elegant Mt Veeder cabs I've tasted in awhile.

Sep 16th, 2014Delicious. Drinking perfectly with miles to go. I’m starting to think the 2011 vintage was unjustly maligned…

Dec 21st, 2019Last time I had this wine was a little over two years ago. In that period of time, it has aged nicely. Blueberry and wildflowers on the nose. This bottle was a stand-in to the one that I wanted to try on my 40th birthday that was acting a little bit weird. Nothing weird about this one. Palate of blackberry, black cherry, cassis, blueberry, cinnamon baking spice. A little bit of chocolate, a little bit of leather. Black pepper to the finish. What a nice wine, and from the "bastardized" 2011 vintage to boot! Drink or hold.
