needs time to breathe....ripe opulent with wood well integrated. Nicely balanced with good acidity to go up the 15% alcohol. Did not feel the alcohol at all. Tobacco blackcurrant cigar box with black fruits. Next in 5 years...this has a long life ahead with good tannins to support.

There is no Sangiovese in this Bordeaux blend of Merlot, CS and CF. A big, smooth, fleshy wine without much breed, finesse or complexity. Lots of oak. Dusty finish marks it as Italian/Tuscan. ABV 15%. 3*
