Orly Lumbreras Viñador
Milagritos Garnacha
Amber colored. Smells like mead and tastes like black tea and honeysuckle. So enjoyable to drink.

Aug 7th, 2020So, it’s definitely better as it warms up a little. Not a super ‘funky’ natural wine. It’s oddly tannic, but also fairly acidic, being an ‘orange’ Wine. Blindfolded it *almost* tastes like a light chilled red, like Lambrusco maybe? Or Sangiovese? A bit of a conundrum....worked pretty well with the home made Alfredo sauce, not so much with the arugula salad.

Jun 6th, 2020Like most orange wines I could see this being polarizing. Blindfolded you might have a hard time deciding whether this was red or white wine. It actually kinda smells like a vineyard. Wet soil and ripe grapes. It’s both acidic and tannic which is why I’d say you might peg it for a Piedmontese red. Definitely a wine to swirl and ponder.
