Abstract Red Blend

My man Sydney at Cork & Keg told me to buy this wine, and I do what Sydney says so that he'll order what I ask him to. I've passed by this wine 100 times because I didn't like the label. But, you can't always judge a wine by its label. Look at Bionic Frog.
This is really good! It's a steak wine. Bold, nicely structured, and plenty going on flavor-wise. Big dark fruit, smoke, cedar, focused acidity and firm tannins. It's a winner. And the bottle weighs like 7 pounds.
Listening to David Lowery's solo record. It's so, so good.

A smooth rich and tasty wine. Dark in color, very balanced, enjoyable.

Unfortunately a bit past its prime

5/2024. Vintage 2010. So good. Depth, flavor, nice on the palate.

Great blend! Easy to pick up the Syrah in this blend. Started out like a nice California red but evolved into a familiar Italian wine (in the best possible way). A winner! Would easily drink again. Had with burger and fries and chicken parm.

Deep ruby color.
Aromas of blueberry jam, vanilla.
Dry. Flavors of blueberry jam, vanilla, clove, raspberry finish.
