A bit over-the-top and without much structure.

Unique as you would expect with Grenache, Syrah, and petite sirah. First taste had me thinking nice fruit, full body, and lingering finish; half a glass had me thinking this wine is crazy good.

Big wine with lush fruit, teeth stainer (like most of Orin Swift wines). Nice rich, weighty mouthfeel. Goes down easy. Had at 4th grade parent party and was my "go to" bottle.

Just a big ol’ inky jelly jar. Ripe fig and plum, rhubarb and tannins on the back end.

Poured into glass about 3 hours ahead of first taste, not sure what I think. The alcohol is noticeable but not overwhelming. Tannins are quite noticeable. Will need to see how this develops. Day 2: more fruit and the wine is starting to open up, fair amount of spice and interest.
