Orin Swift Cellars
Abstract Grenache Blend
North Coast, California, USA
Big wine with lush fruit, teeth stainer (like most of Orin Swift wines). Nice rich, weighty mouthfeel. Goes down easy. Had at 4th grade parent party and was my "go to" bottle.

Unexpectedly, the black tea and black pepper stuck out as much as the fruit. 1.5L, 2012 vintage.

2012 kills the 2011 and the 2011 was WOW! I'm 30 minutes in and I'm already looking forward to what this Taste like in another 60.

Aug 24th, 2020My tastes are changing. Previously a perennial favorite, now ripe bordering on "jammy". Well received by a group but for me, going out of style.
