Great blend! Robust and juicy with peppery notes at the end. Definitely needs pairing with something unctuous.

Plummy nose, wca little amaretto on the end. Very big wine- a mouthful of plums, raisins, and a little sweetness. Oak is noticeable, a little more than I might like, but reasonable. Little heat on the finish, but I wouldn’t guess it was 15+. Complemented the tomahawk steak with béarnaise butter very well. All in all, ass kickin’ dinner!
