Orin Swift Cellars
8 Years in the Desert *New Release* Zinfandel Blend
Very strong green pepper nose, bold dark currant color, with long legs surprisingly. It ia light in body, with the zin being the star. It is much mellower than the color and nose suggest. Nice, but not a standout.

Nov 7th, 2021Quite a great red blend. Nose - plum, blackberry, black pepper. Taste - a bit jammy, blackberries, Bing cherries, a small bit of spice. Quick finish.
Very good - would be awesome if it were a slight but less sweet.

Deep and bold. It's as good as 2017. A ripe plum, blackberry and oaky with a dark chocolate and some tobacco hints.
