Feb 7th, 2015A bold and complex red blend. It starts a tad tart like cranberry, but opens up to a dry earthy wine on the pallet. Notes of blacl tea finish it off.

Nov 11th, 2017Harsh... not a smooth wine at all. Perhaps it will improve w more time in the bottle, but I won't be buying it again to find out.

Aug 19th, 2017I thought this red blend was spectacular. Very well balanced and bold. Distinctive flavors, paired wonderfully with a steak.

Jul 5th, 2017Although the nose is all candied raisins and boysenberry jam, the palette is driven by a beautiful earthiness. The initial dry earth gives way to subtle roasted black fruits and berries, with a solid finish. I've always enjoyed the wine from Opolo and this is no different.

Sep 12th, 2015V11. Typical of Opolo wines...bold flavors, and this is one of the best! Soft cedar bouquet. Rich, dark cherry and spicy peppery fruit. Simple, nice, enjoyable.
