Super primary with delicious dark fruit and spices...dare I say even a touch savory? Very good now but will be better five to ten years from now. Paired this with an A5 Wagyu tri-tip; zero regrets.

Still a bit raw and angular, will shine in 7-10.

Wonderfully intense with rich black fruits, and an addicting long finish. Yum!

2014: Sneak peak of Joel Peterson's (Ravenswood) stunning new offering. Deep color, yet not in the squid ink realm that Petite Sirah can inhabit. Fresh nose full of mixed berries. Terrific balance, particularly at this stage, from this varietal. Quite approachable even now, with long finish and subdued tannins. One of a kind. Better call Joel and get on the list...

Couldn't resist trying. Really singing after a 3 hr decant! Beautifully nuanced PS.

Having visited this vineyard this summer and tried their own unreleased petite I was curious to try other versions. This is highly structured but is beginning to be accessible. It’s got a long way to go but was quite enjoyable now.

3/2024. Full of flavor and nice on the palate. A little “chewy”. Would like to try it again in 5 years.

Delicious stuff. Dark berries, cocoa, and big tannins. Great balance and good acidity. This will continue to get better. I’ll wait on the other bottles for sure.
