Color of purple mixed with ruby, just a tiny bit cloudy. Nose of seducing cocoa, vanilla beans, a bit flowering note, plum, juicy grapes, and a bit medicinal note. Taste of marginal tannins, medicinal notes, vanilla bean, a bit peppery and spice, black cherry, dark skin grapes, and indeed strength of alcohol. Aftertaste is some more pepper and spice note, a bit zest, a bit strawberry, and some more alcohol. A warm Syrah blend.
