Weekend Burgundy is good too. Medium burgundy color in the glass. Initial aromas of dirty dirt and barnyard funk. A little touch of blue fruits and cherry powder. A sturdy lil Burg with incredible qpr. Letting it sit for a while allows the beautiful funk to calm down a bit. A little oak and herbs, blueberries and cinnamon, and muted strawberries. Not a showstopper but definitely more than good enough.

Apr 1st, 2017Intense. This has got a lot of life in the bottle. The last couple bottles I've had feel like they have a lot of potential and it takes a long time open for it to show. Too bad I haven't made it past a few hours with one. 👍🏼

I seem to prefer much more quiet environments for this wine and in environments of too much intensity it can seem almost as if there is nothing here. She is a soft spoken woman with much to say. Careful putting yourself in situations where you can't here her beautiful voice. Chicken? Yes. All is in balance and harmony on the hautes cote.

Aug 3rd, 2015Opened slowly. Pretty regal on the nose and primary in the mouth, gained complexity over 2 hours...didn't let it sit for long enough. I've only had this in a wine bar environment BTG with so much better showing. I will find the time and the way...this is not a fast one.

Pure relaxation, so silky, so balanced...the minerals, the cherries, the mysteries of every sip. Open for 10 minutes, open for 2 hours, doesn't matter, she's tight, she's loose, she's so gorgeous and quiet. Fuck. I gotta get out of here.
