Bought this as a Total Wine employee recommendation who said it was a "big, bold cab." Boring and flat on first taste, and second, and third. Low tannins and off-dry. It improved once we tried it with spicy tomato pasta sauce, but not enough to buy it again.

Good wine. Nothing special but certainly drank well with grilled burgers. Dark cherry and mocha, little tannins, and medium finish.

Beautiful, not too fruity, didn't give me a headache. Don't usually like cabs but this one was great.

Earthy, blackberry, soil, clean on the pallet, great pairing with grilled meats, medium tannin for cab.

We aren't big Pinot drinkers, but Olema Pinot is OK and at the right price and Amici has some good cabs. So, we gave this a try at the suggestion of the Total Wine guy. Much better stuff out there for $20-ish: Krug, Delectus, Justin among others. Not great by itself, but it held up fine against lamb chops, but it didn't enhance the meal.
