Come Together Piquette Blend

Simple but fun. Definitely interesting, both in terms of the blend and the way in which it is made. Very non-traditional, but easy to appreciate. Fruit punch with some vanilla thrown in. A bit funky at first, but it aired out nicely after a couple of days. 40% Piquette Rouge, 35% Bläufrankisch, 25% Chambourcin. 3/26/23.

This was 40% piquette with the remainder Blaufrankisch and Chambourcin. Honestly, it tastes like 100% piquette. That’s not a bad thing, but I was expecting it to have a bit more grip. Taken for what it is, this was fun and refreshing.

Dry after. Interesting mouth feel. Leaves your mouth stale.

Blackberry, light leather, chocolate yet very light. Very slight carbonation. Crushable.

Fruit punch with a gentle touch of acid

Welch’s grape juice. Splash of Topo. Angostura bitters. That’s this.

A little funky, a little fizzy, interesting and loaded with fruit, not tannins. Light and quaffable, chill it down and enjoy with pork ribs.

A little too fruity for me

smells like dried aged meat and with garlic and parmesan that has been sitting out for days. but... the ending residual taste is like a lightly carbonated sweat that you’d actually drink 😂
