Singing Hills Red, Columbia Valley. Second label of Reininger, Mattawa WA. Damn good table wine at a great value. Nothing online about this label or the grapes in this non-vintage blend, but their main label has excellent wines. These are the barrels and tanks that didn’t make the cut, presumably. I taste Syrah and Sangiovese in there, but Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Grenache could be in the mix with other Bordeaux varietals. Slight skin astringency on finish with white and black pepper notes. Healthy acidity with cherry-berry flavors, floral and herbal aromas as well. Well blended
