Caramel on the nose. I have had a LOT of top notch bourbon. The inflated price for this is absurd and completely unjustified. I feel sorry for people who have succumbed to the hype. Glad to have a birthday taste. Wouldn't pay for it again.

Glidew over the palate like a cloud. Rich and earthy with savory, gentlemanly notes joining a spicy, smoky finish, though not quite so much like inhaling a campfire as the 23. Gorgeous, indeed - but could any whiskey ever live up to such hype?
