Super funky; top five funkiest (in a good way) I’ve ever had. Starts with a ripe cracked pepper, young zin open. Second third hits with blueberry, ripe raspberry. Finishes with a meaty, mushroom umami.

I went back to taste the Cabernet Franc 2012. I have to say it was not as good as that 2010. They tell me 2010 was a banner year for the reds at this winery.
