Nose of dark fruit, chalk, dusty minerals, dried grass, licorice, dark red cherry. Juicy red fruit with a slightly meaty undertone. Fuller body and more fleshy than most traditional barberas, but without losing mouth water acidity. Great.

Remember enjoying this one last night with pizza, but struggling to recall a description the morning after. Lighter than I anticipated, but versatile to cut through the fat of the cheese. We will have to try it again!
