This Shiraz Rosé gem hails from Oakover Wines in Perth’s Swan Valley. We were kindly sent a sample to taste of their latest release - the 2020 🙌
Did you know ⁉️ The 2020 vintage was the earliest on record in The Swan Valley region. This was due to the mild 2019 winter which led to an early start to the growing season and this was followed by warm and dry conditions right up to harvest time.
So how did the wine turn out?
We found it a pretty pink diamond 💎 shade in the glass. On the nose it’s full raspberries, lemons and a hint of florals. While in the mouth it flows daintily across the palate with red berries and citrus. Perfect for an afternoon on the deck with charcuterie and cheese 👌
And only $16 a bottle!
