Precessi Napa Red Blend

Nice dense ruby color. Opens with a bourbon barrel bouquet of buttery caramel with black currant and hints of licorice. Fuller in body with moderately firm tannins and nicely balanced acidity. The palate offers dark cherry, minerals and some tobacco leading to a nice finish on this California Bordeaux style wine

For an 07 this showed absolutely no signs of age - color was inky, opaque and thick. Tightly wound monster took 45 mins to yield Meritage nose w/Merlot as front runner. Dense concentration here, nicely integrated tannins. Never heard of this winery but this over-delivered on price/quality!

Great Napa red. Big fruit, smooth finish. Good bargain drinker.

Hearty but smooth. A bit smokey and charming complex. Great with spaghetti

80% Oak Knoll merlot from Trefethan's vineyards. Still a ton of fruit, which overpowers the tannins to some extent. Even if it never gets better, this is a great bottle for $16.

I love it when the nose makes promises that the taste keeps. Plumbing with nice tannins. Really enjoyed this wine.

Great value at $25!! Fruit, leather, hint of green pepper.
