Rather uninteresting as a sipper yet this shines with moderately rich food. It's also better after 3 hours in the decanter...too simple otherwise, even as a $16 wine.

Nose is dark cherry. At start is slight pepper and very dark deep cherry flavor that gives way to heavy tannins. Tail medium tannins and medium in length
