Northstar
Stella Blanca Columbia Valley Sémillon
The 16 Stella Blanca is a blend of 68% Semillon, 16% Sauvignon Blanc, 16% Muscadelle. On the nose, lemon, lime, banana peel, grapefruit and spring flowers. Palate is; lemon, lime zest, pineapple, grapefruit pit, banana peel, soft but edgy minerality...almost feels like tannin structure. Has good acidity and finishes quite dry...60-40 split on fruit to minerality.

Aug 11th, 2017Pale yellow in color. Nose is unfamiliar fruit... perhaps passion fruit, orange blossoms, and burnt brandy. Mouthfeel is a little bit greasy. Taste is quite neutral, and finish is surprisingly long for a white wine! Maybe a little of dried apricot and banana. I don’t drink white wine very often. So, this is a white wine beginners review.
