Noon Winery
Reserve Langhorne Creek Shiraz
Continuing on with the Langtons Classification tasting this Noon from the Outstanding category. Made by Drew Noon MW from Langhorne Creek. Great density and concentration and although I forgot to check usually high alcohol at around 15.5 to 16% Full bodied and flavoursome.

Sep 23rd, 2017@Mike Rowe Incredible Shiraz! Courtesy of my Bud Mike! Thank you Sir! I love the deep Garnet color., the pronounced globs of dark fruit that are really well intergrated and not overpowering along with A long & lush finish . My 1st time enjoying this Shiraz but you can label me a believer & it most certainly won't be my last!!
In a nutshell.., it's Badass! 👍😍🍷🍷😍👍

On the nose, wild berries, a little black licorice, light spices and dry dark florals. Palate with fruits of; blackberries blueberries, dry cranberries, dark cherries and dry prunes. Crushed dry rocks, soft leather, medium tannins, sweet tarry notes, black licorice, strawberries and cherries develop on the mid palate, really dry old red florals, soft woodiness, light nutmeg, medium body, good acidity. Finishes with dark, sticky tannins, a touch of dark tardiness and black licorice. Photos of Drew (Winemaker/Owner) and the vines right around his estate.

Apr 12th, 2017Love it but it is definitely big bold and using @Martin G Rivard words badass - must decant for a long time - Parker gave it a 97 and seems to like the wine as he gave it 97 for the 13 which I have not tried yet - full bodied turbo drinking wine - fruits and tannins are really integrated nicely - still smiling from last night
