I grabbed this in my mad dash through Kroger. In short, I would do it again.

Not a terrible wine just not great. Very light and had a strange bite on the end, kind of acidic all around, just not that good.

This is a nice, little wine. I'll admit to being annoyed by the so-called clever verbiage on the back of the bottle that finishes: "Add fudge brownies. Done." Ummm probably not. Unless we're talking some dark DARK chocolate fudge brownies you probably just messed up your palette. The wine by itself, though, quite pleasing. The retail price of around $30 is a bit much, but I picked up this bottle for around $10 and that's a bargain. Black earth, plums and currants, maybe a touch of cedar as well. The tannins are smooth, with just a bit of grip. Black and red fruit on the palette with a bit of menthol and subtle earth (oaky finish to follow). It's not huge Napa, but it would still pair well with a steak, while still being light enough to drink by itself.

I would call this medium bodied. Dry w/ subtle flavors.

Yikes. Way too much going on here. Ends up being a young, tangy wine. Would not buy again.
