I became over the last several years a big fan of Portuguese wines. This is a super market wine, found here in most Coop stores, a pleasant and approachable wine. It lacks some of the charm and character you usually find in the Douro, it is very modern in style and applies the basic new world formula of medium - full body, round, soft , fruity and flattering. A bit superficial, yet does the job for those who simply enjoy a glass of red from time to time. My score 82, drink to 2018.

Kinda heavy but not really interesting… too prominent on the tannine side

A dry astringent medium full bodied wine. Distant notes of dried fruits and tropical fruit. Not my favorite type.

Fig and blueberry on the nose, high tannins, light cooked blueberries on the palate.
