Good medium bodied Valpolicella. Pricey for the category but good balance of fruit and acidity. Dark cherry, licorice and minerals on a long finish

Stone and sunshine, dried black cherries, snippets of blackberry and plum with roasted coffee notes like ghosts down the hall smoking their clove cigarettes. So goes the bouquet. Cola and black cherries, toast and oak notes descend softly on a bed of raspberry and blackberry which bounce with a soft, pop-rock sizzle, then succumb to the aforementioned cherries. Complex despite the medium body which lends simplicity, and yet the balancing acid is ever present to remind you that this is a serious enough wine, begging for complex foods. A real treat.

Medium ruby in color; mushrooms, soil, and a hint of plum on the nose; moderate acidity; smooth ,moderate tannins; tastes like cherries, plums, maybe pomegranate, and maybe wet gravel. Nellie doesn't like it much, bit she said it's better with food.

Light bodied - with hints of raspberries, cider, black tea, smoke, and soft brown sugar. Kinda yummy, kinda fruity, and very fun.
