To me this had classic N. Rhône character with no extra non-sense about it. High toned, medium bodied, crunchy fruit, mineral depth, and loads of fresh cracked pepper. Almost seemed to have some residual CO2 based on the texture. Lovely, thirst quenching Syrah with all the lift one needs.

Deep ruby in color. Medium+ aromatic intensity, with developing aromas of graphite, river rock, blackberry, blueberry, wet leaves. Pronounced flavors of the same, high acidity, medium+ tannin, medium alcohol, medium body, long finish. Outstanding wine. Drink now or hold

Sharing with friends at the Wine Chateau in Keller. Great nose with a hint of fresh tomatoes and earth. Taste is smooth and earthy mushrooms. Yum

Needs a lot of air... on day 2 this was floral and silky, with fine tannins, blue and black fruits and a long finish.
