1hr+ decant. This start out amazing but faded over time. Lovely dark red color with purple rims. Nose contained refined dark cherries and subtle baking spices. A nice sweetness was well balanced with the very present tannins but this fell out of balanced over time. The depth and finish were both great but also faded. Very nice wine that had so much more potential.

Jul 26th, 2020Drinking the 2013 in late 2019.! Deep dark ruby color. Thick long lasting legs. Rich bouquet loaded with dark berries and oak. Flavor bursting with dark berry, oak and cherry. Smooth finish with very low tannins. Love this wine

Big fruit with some earth on the nose. Big ripe black cherry, blackberry, vanilla, oak. Nice medium plus acidity, nice big tannins, hides the higher alcohol content well. Drinking great right now. Agree with my review of the 2015 that this is one of the better N&N cabs.

Had several bottles with a group of colleagues- all were decanted for over an hour. I am a fan of heavy cabs and was impressed with the depth and body of this wine and the smooth finish with very little tanins. Highly recommended with a filet minion!
