Happy to check in on the ‘19 Placida, haven’t tasted since bottling. The stem is integrating nicely, there’s plenty of freshness and lively tannin, fruit is ample but kept in check. Cooperage is balancing nicely too.

Strawberry and spicebox. The finish is long, memorable, and full of earth. Aging nicely. I’ve always been a big fan of Neyers, and their pinot is decently priced, and really underrated. One to seek out.
