Grippy with nice tannin to it. Restrained fruit. Old world.

I love these wines. Their Bordeaux varietal wines always capture that sweet core of CA fruit without sacrificing the nuances inherent to them. Behind gobs of juicy plums and currants there was tobacco, gravel, mint, coffee. This wine lasted for days and out performs for the price.

First impression of lush dark fruit that transitions to strong, earthy gravel with a dry and spicy finish. Really impressive.
