Bone dry and smoky with good acid, excellent minerality that became richer and more intense as it warmed up. Stunning!

Jan 15th, 2015Tasted this beauty of an age released Pinot gris over looking the Marlborough Sounds from a buddies batch, sitting next to two gorgeous French girls and a meat, cheese, and olive platter fit for a Prince. Dunno if this skewed my vote but it could be the best P.G. ever produced. ^^

May 24th, 2016Acidity is wonderful for such age. Had aged similar to a riesling. Higher sugar has kept it viscous and caramelized. Honey shows nicely on the finish. Slightly oily.
