This is a full-bodied & concentrated 100% Aglianico from Campania, Italy. The vineyards are understood to be 200-years old in Campi Taurasini, hence the name of the wine ‘Bicento’ (twice hundred). This makes them the oldest in Europe. The wine is robust, intense, pitch dark with firm, dusty tannins. The finish is very good, with dark berry, black plum, licorice, & spice flavours
