Nathan told us to hold this until 2019 (hey, we’re two days in!), and I can see why. This is so lovely right now. Earthy, spicy, and boasting some pronounced acidity. We’ll definitely be looking to score more from this talented young winemaker when back in the Finger Lakes next month!

It’s a lot of fun to taste all the different expressions of Pinot Noir. While this one has the hallmark bright cherry you might expect from Pinot, I don’t think you’d confuse it for one of the more famous Pinot growing regions of the world. It’s light on its feet and very bright. Honestly, you could easily confuse this for something from Piedmont with its high acidity and tannic structure.
