Nose is strawberry jam. Almost like pancake syrup. Slightly herbal note evolves as it gets some air.
Palate is loads of cooked, jammy strawberry and grape. Sweetness carries through to the end with noticable alcohol heat and some subtle black pepper and dried oregano.
Not my style. Too syrupy (hate to say it but reminiscent of cough syrup). Lacks any counterpoint or freshness. Finish is kind of nice.

This is the Lodi Old Vine Zinfandel. The berry really hits you as soon as it touches the tongue. Raspberry and blackberry, with a hint of fig and baking spices. Mild tannins and balanced acidity #tastingroom
