How could anyone not love this? Undisgorged bubbly from a house that sits half in Slovenia and half in Italy. 9 years on the lees, disgorged in a sink of water. Deliciously leesy, baked apple, almost cider-like.. bringer of the funk. What a great bottle, especially for the money involved. Get yaself some.

Admittedly, a bit intimidating disgorging your own 11 year old sparkler, but a super fun experience for a wine geek. As far as I know, this is only production available like this for retail. 100% Pinot Noir and obviously on the lees since bottling and at a great price. Oh yeah, and the wine is awesome. More muscular in body but fresh strawberry and cherry flavors with a salty minerality. Very long finish. If you see it, get it.
