Piuze makes fantastic Chablis, so perhaps not surprising how much value his sparkling wine brings. Much more detail & incisive focus than 17$ should be; very dry on palate, with small red berry essences & very balanced. This beats up Cremants at the same price point, & then some.

Zero dosage and it shows, bone dry. A very nuanced wine with cherry blossom on the nose while the palate presents currant, clementine, cherry, and a faint note of marzipan on the finish.

Great value. 100% Pinot Noir from just north of Chablis. Nine months on the lees. Strawberries and cream with a soft, floral quality. Expected higher acid considering there is no dosage. Pre dinner aperitif or pair with fruit tart for dessert.
